I am a Montreal-based builder specializing in residential renovation, with a current focus on window manufacturing, through my new company, Cardea Windows.
My goal is to transform homes into unique and imaginative spaces by thinking of them as a form of functional art. I look for the inspiration behind the plan and let it inform the technical decisions throughout the process. My dance performance background has been useful in my collaborations with architects, designers and clients, helping me envision the larger picture while keeping track of all the details. I am fascinated by the many different technical elements of the building process and how they work together to create not just a successful project, but a harmonious space in which to live, work and relax. Creativity is essential, as is the understanding of what makes a successful and complete work of art.
